Recreation Ground explores the multiple temporalities, uses and values of The Island - the wasteland behind One Thoresby Street. Including large scale photography, participatory performances and soundworks, the exhibition traces links with 'twinned' wastelands across the globe and excavates The Island's seemingly redundant pasts and possible futures.
The exhibition is supported by a number of talks and events held in the Attic at One Thoresby Street, Nottingham Contemporary and on The Island.
